PESHAWAR: At least two policemen were killed by the firing of unknown miscreants in Bannu district on Monday.
According to local police, some unknown armed men opened firing at police constables in the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi police post, resultantly Constable Fakhr Zaman and Constable Sharafat died on the spot.
The attackers escaped after killing the police men.The security forces rushed to the attack site and cordoned off the area.
The dead were shifted to district headquarters hospital Bannu while search for the attackers was also started in the area.
