QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani has termed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan's criticism on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman as deplorable.
In a statement issued by Chief Minister House here on Wednesday, he said: "Political differences are beauty of democracy but it means we should always adhere to principles of mutual respect.
He said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman belongs to a respectable and noble religious and political family.
Nawab Raisani opined that all politicians are respectable and it is need of hour to promote values of respect and tolerance.
He said that only culture of tolerance and patience could strengthen democracy.
He said that politicians must become model of positive politics for new generation.
