PESHAWAR: Federal Minister for Communications, Dr Arbab Alamgir Khan has said that Pakistan People's Party had strong hold in DI Khan and candidates of PPP would get overwhelming victory from this district.
The Minister said election would be held on time and would be free, fair and transparent. He said the country was moving forward on road to progress and prosperity under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
Talking to Former Assembly Members Mazhar Jami Ali zai and Hafeezullah Khan Ali zai at their residence in DI Khan the Minister said PPP is popular political party with strong roots in all federating units and Gilgit Baltistan and will get maximum seats in the upcoming election from DI Khan on the basis of performance.
He said people of DI Khan deeply loved Quaid- e- Awam Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed and Benazir Bhutto Shaheed and will reflected it in the upcoming election.
He said PPP never afraid of accountability and faced it in the past with steadfastness. He said the nation and patriot politicians had suffered due to wrong policies of dictators in the past.
He said PPP would focus on development of Southern Districts of KPK and under construction of DI Khan bypass road would soon be completed.
The Minister urged party workers to stand united and inform masses about achievements of the government.
PPP leader Fauzia Batool and others stalwarts were present on this occasion.
