sawat 400MINGORA: A remote controlled bomb blast targeting a police mobile van in mountainous Shangla district martyred one police man and injured four others including an SHO Martung Police Station, District Police said.

 

The police mobile van of Police Station Martung with SHO and other police officials on board were on their way to Alpuri for attending a meeting when it hit a roadside remote controlled explosive device, resultantly the van plunged into deep ditch. Sepoy Jehanzeb Khan succumbed to his injuries while on way to the Saidu Sharif hospital.

 

SHO Karimullah, ASI Mir Salam Khan, Driver Rashid Ali and Sepoy Riaz injured in the attack who have been shifted to Aluch Hospital for first aid.

 

The SHO was discharged from the hospital after the first aid treatment while the injured driver and Sepoy have been shifted to Saidu Sharif hospital.

 

The police and security forces sealed the entire area and started search operation to nab the culprits involved in the attack.
