Big Boss to go ‘dark’ for silver screen

KARACHI: Hit reality TV series “Big Boss” is now being turned into a silver screen feature.

According to Indian media sources, the script is being prepared at the moment but no actors have been finalized though the audience can expect to see a mix of former Big Boss housemates, Indian television and Bollywood stars.

The movie will be based on the experiences of the housemates over the last five seasons and the ongoing sixth season will also be taken into account. The production of the film is expected to start in early 2013. Endemol India and Select Media Holdings Pvt. Ltd. are set to jointly produce the film under the “dark” comedy genre according to the Indian press.

Currently, the sixth season hosted by Salman Khan, has gained massive success on the small screen not only in India but Pakistan as well.
