ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Capital Administration and Development (CAD),Nazar Muhammad Gondal has said that PPP would not allow anyone to derail the democratic system as it had been restored after numerous sacrifices.
Talking to private television channel,he said that survival of Pakistan hinged on the continuation of the democratic system and everyone should play a due role in strengthening democracy.
The Minister said the future caretaker setup will be decided by political forces only.
Replying to a question,he said the government would respect every opinion which is in accordance with the constitution and help strengthen democracy and institutions.
He added that all political forces should seek the people's support through popular public vote within the ambit of the constitution.
Reply to another question,he said that "We welcome all the parties who want to do politics in the country according to the constitution and desire to strengthen democracy and institutions".
The minister said some elements had been trying to create confusion as the nation was preparing for general elections.
