KARACHI: Accusing the federal government of fuelling Covid-19 spread in the country, Chairman Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday announced that his party would hold an All-Party Conferences (APC) on the issues of coronavirus and National Finance Commission (NFC) on provincial level.
Addressing a news conference at Sindh Assembly Auditorium, here, Bilawal said: "The federal government is responsible for the spread of Covid-19 in the country."
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Provincial Health Minister Dr Azra Pechuho, Sindh Minister for Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah were also present at the press conference.

He criticised the federal government for laying off 10,000 employees of Pakistan Steel Mills.
"Laying off 10,000 people during the Covid-19 epidemic is an inhumane act," he added.

Bilawal said hospitals in the country were running out of space. Pakistan now has more cases than China, he noted.
"Doctors, other healthcare professionals have been shouting themselves hoarse over the gravity of situation," he said.
"Listen to the ones who have been risking their own and their families' lives," he added.
He demanded security allowance for health workers as they have put their lives in harm's way.
He said Sindh government is increasing testing capacity of Coronavirus in the province.
He said the federal government is giving wrong figures as the death rate in KP is the highest.
To a question regarding the upcoming budget, Bilawal said that after the budget session, opposition parties would try to forge a consensus on the coronavirus, NFC and 18th Amendment.
