Murad claims he was not allowed to speak in ECC video conference
- Sindh CM says at first he was refused permission to come to Islamabad to attend the meeting and then they did not allow him to speak
(Karachi) Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that he was not allowed to speak and his microphone was muted during the video conference of the Economic Coordination Committee.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi on Wednesday, he said: “I was attending the video conference and when I tried to speak, my voice didn't pass through.”
Shah claimed he asked his team to check if there was any issue with his audio. Shah said he was told that he didn’t have permission to speak.
“The officials told me that I will be able to speak when I will be given permission,” he stated.
Murad highlighted at first he was refused permission to come to Islamabad to attend the meeting and then they did not allow him to speak. "I have informed the prime minister about what has happened."
The Sindh CM quoted the prime minister as saying, "he had not asked the staff to mute anyone and everyone was allowed to speak in the meeting."
