(Karachi) Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that political parties and their leadership that ruled the country in the past did not serve people, rather they used power for self-interest.

He said this during a meeting with members of the Sindh Assembly belonging to PTI and allied parties in Karachi on Wednesday.

The PM said that the PTI's main purpose is to serve the people and ensure resolution of their problems.

He maintained that PTI, its allied parties have common agenda of elimination of corruption, poverty alleviation & public service.

The prime minister highlighted that the federal government is cooperating with all the provinces, including Sindh to facilitate the public in every possible way. "Real development could be made through administrative reforms and devolution of powers at lower level," he stated.

On the occasion, the members of the allied parties presented their recommendations about development work and administrative reforms in the province.
