Chelsea to sell Kante to fund Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell transfers
Chelsea have reportedly put N'Golo Kante on sale this summer to fund more transfer, having already bought services of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
The Blues are keen on landing Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell to London and in order to achieve that they are willing to sell Kante, the world cup winner, to fund further transfers this summer, according to the Times.
Werner, 24, has 11 goals in 29 international appearances for Germany and has penned a £9million-a-year contract with the West Londoners worth £170,000-a-week.
But Frank Lampard does not want to stop there and the club will continue to pursue Bayer Leverkusen's Havertz and Chilwell from Leicester.
The club are understood to be enforcing a new 'one-in, one-out' transfer policy with Ajax star Hakim Ziyech also arriving this summer in a £37million move.
And Kante - who has been courted by Real Madrid and French champions Paris Saint-Germain - could be the next out the door.
Havertz, 21, fuelled speculation linking him with a move to Stamford Bridge by liking a tweet demanding Chelsea sign him.
Leverkusen have priced Havertz at more than £89.5m - but will not block his move if their valuation is met.
The Germany international has chipped in with 16 goals and nine assists during the 2019/20 campaign.
