farzana--ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister and Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Farzana Raja on Sunday said that the BISP had been playing a vital role for improving the economic condition of the poor, needy and deserving people.

 

Talking to APP, she said that the PPP government had won the hearts of the needy people by distributing billions of rupees among them under the BISP.

 

Replying to a question, she said that the democratic government was simplifying the BISP procedures and it was being extended across the country.

 

She said that the Pakistan Peoples Party was the guardian of democracy in the country and was striving for the rights of the masses.
