GUJRANWALA: Australian High Commissioner, Tim George Tuesday said Australia was providing solar energy equipment to Pakistan to overcome power crisis.
Addressing a meeting of the Gujranwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he said Australia was also extending cooperation in the education sector as more than 5,000 Pakistani students were getting education in Australia.
He said the establishment of an Australian and Pakistan business forum was being chalked out to boost business and trade between the two countries.
He said a website was also being set up for the forum to facilitate the business community of both countries for business guidelines and information.
The high commissioner said there were a lot of opportunities of business and trade between the two countries, adding that trade could be enhanced through joint ventures.
