KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that the politics of sit-ins should end, the media reported on Monday.
Damages and expenses in the Long March are being assessed, he further said.
F9 Park has been designated for public gatherings and sit-ins, the interior minister said.
According to certain media houses, the government sanctioned approximately over Rs150 million for Islamabad Police to control the Long March.
It may be mentioned that more than 11,000 paramilitary forces along with Punjab and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) police were deployed to support Islamabad to maintain law and order during the march.
