KARACHI: Former Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman has gone into coma after suffering brain hemorrhage, the media reported on Tuesday. He was admitted to Combined Medical Hospital (CMH), Lahore, and is being kept under observation.
The former air chief marshal became a commissioned fighter pilot on June 1, 1975, in the Pakistan Air Force after graduating from the Pakistan Air Force Academy, Risalpur, in 1972.
Rao Qamar Suleman retired on March 17, 2012, and was appointed Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) chairman in May 2012.
