Shahrukh Jatoi to undergo medical examination for hair, teeth

KARACHI: Prime suspect in the Shahzeb Khan murder case, Shahrukh Jatoi, will undergo another medical examination, the media reported on Wednesday.

According to reports, Jatoi will undergo hair and teeth examination to determine the suspect's age.

Shahrukh Jatoi's age has been much debated over and he was shifted to the juvenile jail last month following a medical report stating that he was underage.

He was shifted to the Services Hospital after the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) directed medical superintendent of the hospital to constitute a medical board to conduct tests on Jatoi's hair and teeth to determine him as a minor or otherwise.

Police officials were also present during the medical examination conducted on January 17. A large number of officials will be present this time as well.

Jatoi fled the country after the murder and was brought back by the authorities after he was deported from Dubai.

Two witnesses indentified him as the prime suspect during an identification parade.

It may be mentioned that Shahzeb Khan was shot dead in Defence on December 25 last year over a petty dispute.
