Seven die in truck-van collision near D.G. Khan

ISLAMABAD: At least seven people were killed and five others were injured on Friday in a road accident at Dera Ghaz

Dera-Ghazi-Khan-map ISLAMABAD: At least seven people were killed and five others were injured on Friday in a road accident at Dera Ghazi Khan.

Police and rescue teams said the incident took place near Kot Chatta area where a truck collided with a passenger van on the Indus Highway apparently due to overspending, private news channel reported.

Seven passengers died in the mishap while five were critical injured.

They were shifted to district headquarters hospital of D.G Khan.

About cause of incident, police said the truck driver lost control over the heavy vehicle while taking a sharp turn on the highway.
