Police submits final challan in Shahzeb Khan murder case
KARACHI: Police presented the final challan in the Shahzeb Khan murder case, the media reported on Tuesday.
The challan includes 53 witness, four eye witnesses, and has declared four suspects, including Shahrukh Jatoi, under arrest while four others as absconding.
Salman Jatoi, Asif Lund, Nawab Ali Jatoi and Khurram Muhammad have been included in the challan as absconders.
The investigating officer informed the court that passports of all absconders stood cancelled and that Interpol had been contacted over the issue.
The hearing of the case has been adjourned till February 28.
It may be mentioned that 20-year-old Shahzeb, son of Deputy Superintendent of Police Aurangzeb Khan, was gunned down on December 25.
The Supreme Court took suo motu notice of the murder following protests from civil society and coverage of the incident on the media.
