Altaf making practical efforts for inter-faith harmony

KARACHI: Members of the Rabita Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Waseem Aftab and Tauseef Khanzada have said that MQM chief Altaf Hussain has been promoting inter- faith harmony since day one.

They said this while speaking at the reorganising of the town committees of Minorities Wing of their party in the Lal Qila Ground Azizabad here, said a statement issued by MQM on Friday.

They said that the relentless and practical efforts made by Altaf Hussain for promoting inter-faith harmony have been hailed by religious scholars of every school of thought and the general public.

The Members of the Rabita Committee said that there was no discrimination in their party on the basis of language, nationality and beliefs.

Serving the humanity is the common factor in every religion and Altaf Hussain has always preached his party workers and sympathisers to serve the people without any discrimination.

The Members of the Rabita Committee congratulated the newly-elected members of the committees and advised them to utilize their best efforts for spreading the message of their party.
