MQM to build universities in Hyderabad, other cities if it gets chance
KARACHI: The chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has said that his party was against the division of Sindh in the past, and it does not want Sindh to be divided even today.
This he said while talking to the members of the Zonal Committee of Hyderabad by telephone, said a statement issued on Sunday.
He said that MQM would spread education, and it would build universities in Dadu, Thatta, Kashmore, Larkana, Jacobabad, and Khairpur besides Hyderabad. He said that it was a part of his party's manifesto to provide education and healthcare facilities to the people and he would implement its manifesto.
Altaf Hussain asked the people not to harm public and private property while protesting against the allegedly prejudicial and provocative statement. He asked them to keep their protest completely peaceful.
