KARACHI: Another spate of target killings has begun leaving at least seventeen people killed in separate incidents of firing in the last 24 hours.
One of the victims was, Wali Khan Babar, a reporter of private TV channel, who was hit by five bullets by unknown assailants at Liquatabad Super Market and died on the spot.
Nine people people have lost their lives and several injured when unknown armed pillion riders opened fire on two passenger buses in Orangi Town.
In another incident, a man died by firing of unknown persons in Korangi.
In a separate incident, two people were killed by unknown gunmen in Liaquatabad, while four others lost their lives in separate firing incidents in different areas of the ccity.
Police and Rangers have been checking vehicles and patrolling areas in order to control the situation.
