THATTA: A team of CIA police Thatta seized 60kg hashish from a Pajero jeep near Baran rainy river at national highway during the search on a tip off late last night.
CIA police told that they had intelligence report that hashish is being transported in a vehicle.
During the search of Pajero BC-8845 60kg hashish was found from secret cavities of jeep. Two accused Salim Samo and Qasim Samo were arrested who had been coming to Thatta along with their women.
CIA In-charge Manzoor Panhwar told that hashish was smuggled from Chaman, Balochistan and had used the women to escape from search.
According to him one smuggler, known as Lala, fled in another vehicle under the cover of firing.
