CM likely to send recommendation by March 15 to dissolve SA: Speaker
KARACHI: Speaker, Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah would send recommendations regarding the dissolution of Sindh Assembly on March 14 or 15. He said it ensured dissolution of Sindh Assembly alongwith the National Assembly and other provincial assemblies on the same day on March 16.
He said that caretaker chief minister in Sindh would be appointed with the consultation of coalition partners and opposition leader.
He expressed these views while talking to media persons at his office here after meeting with British Deputy High Commissioner Francis Campbell on Friday.
The Speaker said that within two or three days the consultation process will be completed for the formation of caretaker set-up in Sindh.
He further said that Pakistan could not afford to hold polls on different days, so the election will be held on the same day in whole of the country.
He added that caretaker government will utilise all the resources to maintain the law and order situation during general election.
Earlier, the Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro and British Deputy High Commissioner Francis Campbell discussed the bilateral relations.
