PM inaugurates new shopping centre in federal capital

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Friday inaugurated a most modern shopping centre Centaurus here.

The Prime Minister went around different sections of the shopping centre which has been built with foreign assistance.

The Centaurus Shopping Mall, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Raja Ashraf today, would have a comprehensive Shopping Mall, having stores of all national and international brands.

It is one of the mega project in the private sector. The four-storey mall has about 250 shops.

It will have a five-screen cinema, a "fun city" for children, a food court featuring international fast food chain outlets, and four levels of parking in the basement.

The construction on this $350 million Centaurus project - which includes a five-star hotel, two residential towers and a corporate tower in addition to the mall was started in 2006.
