Addressing the inaugurating ceremony of 132 KVA Bhera Grid Station at the constituency of Chairman PAC Ch. Nadeem Afzal Chann at Tehsil Bhalwal on Saturday, he said that Bhera Grid Station would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 330 million and this project would help to resolve electricity crisis and bring prosperity in the area.
He said, under able leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari the PPP-led government had started work on the construction of 32 small and medium dams.
He said the PPP government had inherited the energy crises from its predecessors and the discrepancy of energy had affected the prosperity and economy of the country adding that with the completion of 32 dams Pakistan's economy would be strengthen.
Chairman PAC Nadeem Afzal said that implementing upon the vision of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto the basic facilities including electricity, gas etc have been provided to the people of NA-64 and on the basis of performance PPP will win the next general elections.
