LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif Tuesday said that Badami Bagh incident tarnished the image of Pakistan.
He said, the culprits involved in the incident will be brought to justice and examplary punishment will be ensured.
He stated this while presiding over a meeting held here to review the pace of progress into Badami Bagh incident and rehabilitation work.
The Chief Minister said, the government was taking all out measures for bringing the elements responsible for this ugly incident to justice. He said, necessary instructions have already been issued to police to immediately arrest all the accused involved in the incident.
The Chief Minister directed, the rehabilitation work should be undertaken with sincerity and team spirit.
He further directed to accelerate the process of rehabilitation of the affected Churches.
