KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, called on Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, at the Governor House here on Monday.
A Governor House statement on Monday said that provincial ministers Pir Mazhar ul Haq, Agha Siraj Durrani, Sharjeel Inam Memon, Syed Murad Ali Shah and Ayaz Soomro were with Syed Qaim Ali Shah on the occasion.
They condemned the attack on the office of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Hyderabad on Sunday evening and expressed sorrow on the killing of three workers of the MQM.
They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace.
Directives were issued to the officials concerned for bringing to book the killers at the earliest.
Qaim Ali Shah and the provincial ministers also felicitated Altaf Hussain on the founding day of the MQM and the successful public meeting in Mirpurkhas.
Meanwhile, at the meeting a decision was taken in principle regarding setting up of medical and engineering university in Mirpurkhas.
For the implementation, necessary directives were issued to the Department of Education, it was pointed out.
