BAHAWALPUR: Nawab of Bahawalpur Salahuddin Abbasi has announced to launch Bahawalpur Awami Party in a big public meeting held at his residence SadiqGarh Palace DeraNawabSahib on Thursday noon.
Thousands of people including woman were present in public meeting held at the lawns spread on six acres of land of the historical palace.
Caravans from all the three districts of Rahimyar Khan, Bahawalnagar and Bahawalpur districts had arrived in SadiqGarhPalace early in the morning while Nawab of Bahawalpur Salahuddin Abbasi unveiled Bahawalpur Declaration at 12.38p.m.
He was the only speaker in this public meeting while Former Federal Minister for Information & Broadcasting Senator Muhammad Ali Durrani, former Minister of State Farooq Azam Malik, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab Doctor Syed Waseem Akhter, former Federal Minister Syed Tasneem Nawaz Gardezi, Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mehmood’s sister Syeda Salma Gillani, PML(Q) leader Syed Tabish Alvari and a large number of other prominent persons were present.
