ISLAMABAD: Leader of Muthidha Quami Movement (MQM) Waseem Akhtar Friday said that people run his party election campaign and they are going to contesting the elections despite of security concerns.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that government should need to pay special attention on sensitive areas. He claimed MQM has been receiving openly threats during the election campaign.
He termed delimitation in Sindh as pre-pole rigging, his party leadership had issued precautionary measures to unit level, he added.
"If all political parties have been united against terrorism then the situation of security was totally different today", he said.
Waseem Akhtar also alleged that some political and religious parties have relations with militants.
