NEW YORK: US private employers added 158,000 jobs in March, falling short of economists' expectations, reported by a payrolls processor showed on Wednesday.
Economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast the ADP National Employment Report would show a gain of 200,000 jobs.
February's private payrolls figure was revised up to an increase of 237,000 from the previously reported 198,000. The report is jointly developed with Moody's Analytics.
