KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday directed for inductions in Sindh police for holding of general election-2013 in a peaceful environment.
This was said by Caretaker Sindh Minister for Information, Noor-ul-Huda Shah in a briefing about the meeting of Caretaker Cabinet of Sindh here.
Earlier, the meeting of the Sindh Caretaker Cabinet was held at Bilawal House.
The meeting discussed the matters pertaining for holding of the general election-2013 and law and order situation.
Noor-ul-Huda Shah said that President Asif Ali Zardari has also directed to ensure security of the policemen during election duties.
She told a questioner that holding of transparent elections in a peaceful environment in time will be ensured.
She informed that Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh, Justice (Retd) Zahid Qurban Alvi and Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan were also present in the meeting of the Caretaker Cabinet of Sindh.
