FAISALABAD: Chairman Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Sahibzada Fazal Kareem passed away here on Monday after suffering from fatal liver disease.
Prominent religious leader and head of SIC Sahibzada Fazal Karim had been suffering from liver disease for last few years.
He was admitted in Allied Hospital Faisalabad some one- an-a-half week earlier where he went into coma on Friday.
Sahibzada Fazal Kareem is survived by four sons and a daughter.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari, caretaker PM Mir Hazar Khan Khoso, leaders of various political and religious parties have expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of SIC's chairman. They lauded the role of deceased for the development and prosperity of country and prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
