ISLAMABAD: The heirs of 127 victims of Bhoja Airline which crashed just few minutes before landing at the Islamabad Airport a year ago Saturday demanded justice and compensation from the airline.
The family members of the victims held a press conference at National Press Club (NPC) here which included Sardar Kainaf Hussain, Syed Tariq, Jawad Mataeen, Muhammad Azam Khan, Nisar Fatima and other family members.
According to a press release, they said that almost one year has passed but nothing had been done yet for the Bhoja Air crash incident by the authority concerned.
They claimed that although the owner of Bhoja Air, Arshad Jamil's name was on Exit Control List (ECL) but he had been flown out of the country along with his other family members.
The family members said that the case was still pending in the superior court and few hearings had been held into the matter.
They said the commission formed to probe into the matter has given no result and urged to reconstitute a neutral commission to ensure justice to the relatives of the Bhoja Air incident.
The have heirs appealed to the government to take a concrete action against the culprits and compensate them immediately.
