LAHORE: The local Meteorological department on Saturday forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of thunderstorm/rain for the provincial capital during the next 24 hours.
Synoptic situation, yesterday's trough of westerly wave lying over Afghanistan and adjoining western parts of Pakistan has moved eastwards and today lies over the country.
The weather pundits said that widespread thunderstorm/rain associated with gusty winds, heavy falls is likely to occur upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.
The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 39 and 20 degrees Celsius respectively.
