KARACHI: Eight people sustained injuries in a bomb blast near an election office of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in Burns Road area here on Thursday night, police said.
The explosion occurred outside Babul Islam Mosque, which is adjacent to MQM's Sector Office.
The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital by Edhi and Chippa ambulance services.
According to IG Sindh office the injured were identified as Muhammad Ali (21) s/o Abdullah, Altaf (30) s/o Hassan, Haroon (30) s/o Anwar, Ghulam Rasool Khan (70) s/o Ibrahim, Sohaib (30) s/o Shabbir, Ashiq (25) s/o Asghar Ali, Ayaz (45) s/o Noor Muhammad and Musqa (20) s/o Sohail.
Police and Rangers reached the incident site and stared investigation.
