ISLAMABAD: Justice Richard White, Judge, Supreme Court of New South Wales Australia accompanied by Deputy High Commissioner of Australia called on Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry here on Wednesday.
In the meeting, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry welcomed the delegation and discussed the issues of mutual judicial interest.
The Chief Justice informed the delegation about judicial system in Pakistan, court procedure, jurisdiction and mode of induction of judges in Pakistan's judiciary, said a press release issued here Wennesday.
Justice Richard White apprised the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry about judicial system of Australia, court procedure, jurisdiction and mode of induction of judges in Australian judiciary.
The Chief Justice also presented shield to Justice Richard White as a token of respect and gesture of goodwill.
