ISLAMABAD: Deputy Secretary General, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Ahsan Iqbal on Saturday said that the cabinet size of newly elected government would be short.
"It will help the new government to minimize precious national wealth besides help masses in efficient manner," Ahsan Iqbal told APP.
He said that meeting of the parliamentary party would convene on May 20 in Lahore under the chair of party chief Mian Nawaz Sharif which would discuss formation of the government in the center and in the provinces.
Ahsan Iqbal said that PML-N has gained simple majority in the center while thumping majority in Punjab. The PML-N would also form coalition government in Balochistan with the help of other political parties.
"First 100-day plan of action including energy crisis, law and order situation and other challenges being faced by the country would also be discussed in the meeting," Ahsan Iqbal added.
Ahsan Iqbal said that newly elected members of national assembly besides senators and central and provincial office-bearers would attend the meeting.
