LAHORE: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over six Pakistani prisoners to Pakistan Rangers at Wagha Border on Thursday. Rangers sources said that the Pakistanis had been detained in different jails of India under various charges including illegal border crossing.
The Edhi Foundation Lahore, on the directions of Abdul Sattar Edhi, provided food (khana), packets of juice, fruits and biscuits to the prisoners on the occasion.
Later, the Rangers handed over two of the prisoners namely Niamat Ali (70) of Pattoki and Hayat Muhammad (80) of Shakargar to Edhi Foundation to shift them in Edhi Home Gulberg. The foundation will send them to their homes after searching their home addresses.
