180 old buildings declared unsafe in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: In view of rains in the coming monsoon season, Enforcement Department of the Rawal Town administration has declared 180 old buildings as unsafe and dangerous.

The administration directed the dwellers of the buildings to vacate them.

In the notices issued to the residents and owners, the administration directed them to vacate the buildings otherwise they would be responsible for any losses.

Meanwhile, the administration gave a seven days deadline to the officials to complete the anti-encroachment operation on both sides of Nullah Leh.
