KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement's chief Altaf Hussain has said the victory of Haq Parast candidate from PS-128 is the fruit of workers' round-the-clock hard work and sacrifices of the party's martyred.
He was addressing via telephone from London the Coordination Committee, Karachi Tanzeemi (Organisational) Committee and workers of MQM's different departments at the party's headquarters--Nine Zero, said an MQM press release received here on Saturday.
Expressing his joy over the success of MQM candidate Waqar Hussian Shah, he felicitated party leaders, workers and the public.
He said that the process of re-organising the party at central level has not yet been accomplished, but Allah Almighty gave strength and courage to the newly-elected coordination committee and Karachi Tanzeemi committee, who by their hard work proved that the movement continued to move ahead in the shape of a caravan.
Altaf Hussain said that the movement never gets affected with the leaving of anyone from it.
