KARACHI: The violence continued to grip the city on Tuesday, as five more people lost their life and another one was injured in firing and other incidents.
According to rescue sources, two people were killed in Baghdadi area of Lyari. The deceased were identified as Tauhid, 30, and Naushad, 32. Their bodies were shifted to Lyari General Hospital.
In another incident, unidentified men opened fire in Shah Faisal Colony No 5, killing 35-year-old, Noman son of Iqbal. The body was sent to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
Separately, a young woman named Nazia, 20, was killed over a family dispute with knife in Pakhtunabad area. The deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
An unidentified man was killed near Lucknow Society in Korangi Crossing area after unidentified men opened fire on him. The 30-year-old man’s body was shifted to the JPMC.
In Old Golimar area, unidentified men resorted to firing injuring Raees,25, son of Saeed. He was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment.
