Injured judge of SHC out of danger; he will be given bulletproof car: Qaim Ali Shah
KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah visited Aga Khan Hospital on Wednesday to enquire the health of senior judge of Sindh High Court Justice Maqbool Baqar who was injured in bomb blast this morning.
Later talking to the media, Chief Minister said the condition of Justice Maqbool Baqar was out of danger, as told by the doctors who are looking after him with utmost care.
“Justice Maqbool Baqar was provided with complete security but even then this unfortunate incident took place,” he said adding that the senior judge had security concerns.
Qaim Ali Shah said Sindh government will provide bullet proof car to Justice Maqbool Baqar and a foolproof comprehensive security strategy would be devised for the judges in consultation with Chief Justice SHC, Sindh High Court Bar and Karachi Bar.
Chief Minister also met other judges and family members of Justice Maqbool Baqar present at the hospital and expressed sympathies and prayed for early recovery of injured judge.
He said the injured police and rangers personnel would also be provided best medical treatment.
