QUETTTA: The death toll of Hazara Town suicide bomb blast has risen to 30 after two injured succumbed to their injuries and the number of injured is 56.
The police told APP, here on Monday that 22 bodies were kept in Combined Military Hospital, six in Bolan Medical College hospital and two in Sandeman Civil hospital. The number of injured being treated at the three hospitals is 56.
When contacted, hospital sources told this scribe that the injured were recognized as Qambar Ali, Hayatullah, Rahman, Ismail, Saeed Ahmed, Raza, Munawwar, Roohullah, Eid Ahmed, Saeed Gul, Mir Ahmed, Muhammad Hussain, Hazrat Mujahid, Abid Hussain, Amona Bibi, Shair Hussain, Ali Raza, Hameed, Ali Agha, Nilofar, Bakhtawar, Mehran, Shehzadi, Razia, Hadi, Fatima, Tahira, Soghra Bibi, Rukhsana Bibi, Masooma, Latifa, Muhammad Raza, Qurban Ali, Abdul Raziq, Sajid Hussain, Talib Hussain, Ali, Aziz, Muhammad Ali, Ali Ashgar, Kulsoom, Fatima and Zakia.
It is remembered here that unknown suicide bomber detonated himself outside Imambargah Ali Abu Talib in Ali Abad area of Hazara Town Sunday night when he was stopped at the barrier for body search.
As a result of the explosion, 28 persons including nine women and three children were killed, and over 50 were injured. The dead and wounded include shopkeepers and customers.
