RAWALPINDI: Robbers on Friday looted Rs 700,000 from the employee of a company after injuring him in the jurisdiction of Race Course Police Station here.
Muhammad Arshad was reportedly going on his motorcycle to deposit the cash at Shalay Valley when he was intercepted by three robbers riding on a bike. Arshad tried to escape, but he was fired upon by one of the robbers, who later fled with the booty.
The injured Arshad was shifted by Rescue 1122 to the District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ), where his condition was stated to be stable.
