KARACHI: The Chhipa Welfare Association (CWA) recovered an abandoned baby, says a statement issued here on Monday.
The chief of CWA, Ramzan Chhipa, said that the infant was shifted to a hospital for medical care and that the baby was improving fast.
He said that the babies recovered from `Chhipa Palna' are reared and nourished and provided with best available resources for a better living by those that had adopted the abandoned children from the CWA.
Chhipa said that abandoning the babies was a violation of the human rights and that people should refrain from committing such violations.
He was of the view that those who do not want to keep the `unwanted children' should rather drop them in the Chhipa Cradles quite silently so that the CWA should play its role for their rearing and then handing over to those married couples that deserved them through adoption.
