RAWALPINDI: The hearing of the judges detention case against former military ruler Pervez Musharraf was adjourned till September 10 due to absence of petitioner advocate Chaudhry Mohammad Aslam Ghumman and Musharraf’s lawyer in the anti terrorism court (ATC) here on Saturday.
ATC special judge Atiq-ur-Rehman was hearing judges detention case against Pervez Musharraf.
In the previous hearing the court issued notices to 29 witnesses including 24 lawyers and five government officials to appear in the court. The witnesses were presented before the court but they could not record their statement because Musharraf’s lawyer Ilyas Saddiqi was not present in the court.
The petitioner in the case, Aslam Ghumman could not come in the court on which the court adjourned the hearing till September 10.
