KARACHI: At least 10 lives were claimed by dengue in Karachi up till now while more than 800 cases have been confirmed in the Sindh province.
According to details, around 30-35 people are being admitted to hospitals with symptoms of dengue fever on daily basis.
The authorities have claimed that the situation is under control, stating that fumigation spray is being done on priority basis to curb the spread of dengue.
Meanwhile, the EDO health Karachi said that the most affected areas include Jamshed Town, Orangi, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, Landhi and Sadar Town.
The surge in the dengue cases has been linked with the torrential rains and accumulated water following rains.
