SHANGHAI: China's Ministry of Finance auctioned 30 billion yuan ($4.90 billion) of three-year bonds in the interbank market on Wednesday at an average yield of 3.9157 percent, which was within expectations, traders said.
Market forecasts had centred around 3.88 percent and ranged from 3.84 to 3.94 percent.
The auction yield came in above Tuesday's indicative secondary market mid yield of 3.7725 percent for three-year government bonds.
