QUETTA: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested five suspects involved in Jamia Farooqia shooting incident, in which 10 worshipers were killed.
Police said they along with security forces launched an operation in the provincial capital near Jatak Stop, arresting five suspects and recovering arms from their possession.
At least 10 worshipers were killed and 26 others injured in firing incident at Jamia Farooria on Eid Day.
The police said that a Kalashnikov, four magazines and 55 rounds were seized during the raid.
Moreover, a spokesman for the Frontier Constabulary (FC) said that an FC paramilitary soldier involved in the murder of a citizen was arrested.
He said that the FC man had killed the citizen on Mission Road. He said the accused was being interrogated.
