LAHORE: Two abandoned new born babies were recovered from garbage heaps here on Saturday.
One new born baby was found from a garbage heap in Sui Gas Colony of Defence area, who was abandoned after a few hours of her birth. She was packed in a bag. People handed over the baby to Edhi foundation.
The other kid was recovered from Rewaz Garden here who was shifted to Mayo Hospital by Rescue 1122. According to the Medical Superintendent (MS) of the hospital, the baby girl was having trouble in respiration.
It is pertinent to mention here that a few days ago a similar incident happened in Sheikhupura too, where parents threw their new born twin babies on railway track.
