KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, has vehemently condemned the Peshawar bomb blast.
A statement issued here on Tuesday said that he had telephoned the Governor and the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and expressed sorrow and grief on the tragic incident.
He said that the people of Pakistan and the government respect the followers of all religions.
Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan said that this dastardly act was very much against the teaching of Islam.
He expressed the determination that the Centre, all the provinces as well as the people would work jointly for further promoting the inter-faith harmony and rid the country of the menace of terrorism and militancy.
Governor Sindh returned here on Tuesday after a private visit to Dubai.
